Exhaustion.

I have been taking classes non-stop since August 2010. After transferring and changing my major twice sophomore year of college, I had some time to make up. Being out of state, I couldn't afford a full extra semester so I took both summer session I and II every summer I was in Boone.

I drove home to Athens yesterday after the emotional weekend and it was tiring and sad. I had a friend from high school tweet at me that she doesn't know anyone who loves their college and college town more than me. And that's probably true. I adore Boone as I'm sure you can tell from the last week of my posts. Although, I feel that most people who attend Appalachian State feel the same way I do.

Today, I'm feeling sad and relieved that I'm done. Proud of myself that I made it through the last few years with all the family struggles, money struggles and then the actual class work. And tired.

I am so tired. I'm past just "tired". I am absolutely exhausted. It's 1:20p and I've just now gotten out of bed. I'm still in PJs and the chances of me showering before 6pm aren't high. I'm curled up on the couch with all my animals, reading blogs and watching Scandal. While dealing with a headache, runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes, etc. My mind is tired and so is my body. So we are resting.

I am so excited to have these next couple weeks before work to rest, see my friends and family and then  head up to Charlotte to get this next chapter started. So if anyone needs me for the next few weeks you can find me on the couch, by the pool or stuffing my face :)

See you soon, Queen City.

Relaxing is good...but you will love living in Charlotte! I'm not too familiar with it, but I have some youngish cousins living there and from what I understand, it is a really fun city!
