Five Things

As soon as I wrote that title, I thought of the Miley Cyrus 10 Things song about a Jonas Brother. Anyone else? Bueller? I'm just embarrassing myself at this point, I guess.

So anyways, on to the meat of today's post... my 5 on Friday!

 one // We are starting our KonMarie purge this weekend! I mentioned earlier this week that I read The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up and was planning to do some serious cleaning out here in the house. I know we won't follow all her guidelines because some are a little too much for me. But, I'm starting with the closet tonight and hope to knock out the closets, bathrooms and kitchen this weekend between a few self care appointments I have!

two // I can't believe Scandal is ending next week.  I haven't watched last night's because I just don't know if I'm ready for it to happen. I don't understand how Grey's Anatomy is still on TV but we have to lose Scandal?? Not fair!

three // Spring shopping! In the spirit of purging (LOL), I've done a little spring shopping this week! Old Navy was having some great sales and then I had Super Cash so I had to spend that, too! They always keep me coming back... The reason I did some spring shopping when I'm just about to purge is that...

four // My clothes are getting too big! I have quite a few pairs of pants that I can take right out of the hot dryer and not have to do the skinny jeans dance (we all know what I'm talking about, right?!) and then by midday, they're too loose and I can barely keep them up. On top of that, I'm also having to exchange some shirts I bought because they're too big, too! The scale hasn't changed in months so this is a sure sign the scale is basically pointless.

five // LASIK healing is going well. I had my first LASIK follow up yesterday and thankfully all is going well! I can finally rub my eyes, too, which I never realized how much I do that until I couldn't do it for a month. Allergies are slowing my healing just a bit and my eyes are pretty dry but other than that, I'm so excited for my vision to finish stabilizing!
