Try More: A Weekend Recap

This year is the year of Try More and this weekend I really knocked some things off that list and I couldn't be more excited! So, it brings me to another weekend recap.

We haven't seen our friends Matt and Lisa in a few weeks so we were so excited to get together for good food and fun hockey game. We went to a (new to me) restaurant because Lisa's pregnant and the baby wanted queso. Sadly, the queso was really runny and not good at all so baby was still not please. Luckily, the rest of the food was really good!

After dinner, we headed to a Checkers game. I've been wanting to go for awhile but we just hadn't gotten around to it. It ended up being such a fun game. We were losing when we arrived, but ended up tying the game at the end of the third period (quarter? half? What do I call it??) and going into overtime! We scored in OT within 30 seconds to win the game! Quite the first hockey game!

My friend Sarah and I have Classpass and have been trying new classes together. Saturday, we had a free class to AIR Southpark and holy crap what a class. It was so hard (and I learned I'm seriously lacking in upper body strength despite all the push-ups I do) but so fun! I did go upside down a few times, but by the end I was exhausted and settled for a boring picture.
I'm a glutton for punishment and heading back next Saturday for another round of torture so maybe I'll get that upside picture next week!
After AIR, since I was close, I finally tried The Juice Bar and though my smoothie was delicious, it was expensive so I'll probably just make it myself next time. Once I had all my greens for the day, I switched over to beer and pretzels. We headed out to Olde Mecklenburg Brewery so I could finally meet my friends' puppy and to soak up all the good weather.

We slept in pretty late on Sunday which is rare because normally Ellie wakes us up or I head out to work out or brunch. This Sunday, though, I had no plans and it was glorious. We grabbed bagels once we finally moved and worked on some house projects (AKA, getting my office done since it's one of my February goals).

I'm going to do a reveal when it's finally all complete, but here's a sneak peak of the gallery wall!

Linking up with Biana!

Aerial yoga is tough... It's really rough on your thighs/hips/lower back fluffy (or fat in my case, lol)! It's fun, though!!
I've never been to a hockey game, but it sounds like you guys picked a fun one to go to!!
Love how that gallery wall is looking!
