I'm not here to whine and complain, though. I'm actually here for the exact opposite! I want to share some things that are keeping me functioning right now. Also, just as a note, thankfully no one is dying (or has died) and things with Christian and I are a-okay.
My planner has a spot in the top corner of every week to write something I'm thankful for and that's something I'm taking so seriously right now. It's so nice to sit down on Sunday night to plan my week, our meals and think about what I'm thankful for this week. Which is where I came up with the idea for this post.
These are the things I'm most thankful for right now.

Christian.
I've written plenty of things about Christian in the past and why he is so amazing. Right now, there's nothing he can do to fix the problems I'm dealing with, but he's such a trooper and does his absolute best to help.
My close friends.
I have a few amazing friends that have been so awesome and came running right when I needed them. Distance didn't matter and friends here in Charlotte have done everything they can to help and distract. It truly showed me who I can count on when life isn't perfect. And who is willing to listen to me whine ;)
Women around the world who are fighting for our rights.
I already had plans to visit Kristin in Charlottesville so sadly, we weren't able to join a March on Saturday, but trust me, we were in tears over all the beautiful pictures and videos from Marches all over the world. Charlotte had about 10,000 people come out! How amazing! I've read so many amazing posts about the March (as well as negative ones, but I'm focusing on the positive) and it's really lit a fire in me to get more involved and fight harder!
To start out, I'm joining the fight with organizers of the March here --> https://www.womensmarch.com/100
The Bachelor.
Okay, hear me out here. I'm not thankful in the sense that it makes my whole life, but it has been SO nice the last two Monday's to completely disconnect and focus on the ridiculousness that is Corrine and her nanny. I'm also VERY thankful that TGIT comes back on this week anddddd that House of Cards is coming back in May. (And can we talk about the epic marketing strategy of promoting that on Twitter during the Inauguration?!)
Pure Barre.
I hadn't gotten to the Barre for over a week and before that it had only been like once but I finally made it back last night and wow I really needed that. It's amazing to be able to walk into the studio and all of the instructors immediately wonder where you've been and if everything is okay. I'm so thankful that I found Pure Barre almost exactly two years ago.
So there you have it, a few of the things that are helping me through the rough times.
