When I saw Lauren and Bre mention this link up last week, I knew I had to join! I love buying/watching/reading/doing things based on my friend's real recommendations so I can't wait to see what everyone is sharing today!
My list is kind of all over the place, but that's what makes it fun, right?
Books:
I mentioned last week I just finished Anna Kendrick's book - go get it!
I have to include this one, too. If you have never actually read the Harry Potter books OR you read them once as a child, I suggest you pick them up again. I found over the weekend that they really hit home in our current political climate PLUS they're the best books ever. I don't even know how many times I've read them.
Shows:
If you're not watching This Is Us, then what do you do on Tuesdays? Seriously, get on that train. I never watched Parenthood, but it's been compared to that. It's just so good every. single. week.
Also, Designated Survivor. Get on that, too. There's only been half a season so catch up and it comes back on in March. Be ready.
And, lastly, Quantico. This is the second season so it's a great binge watching show for a lazy weekend. Seriously, Priyanka Chopra is a goddess.
Random bits of things:
SkinnyTaste and Fit Foodie Finds have been my go to's with my new healthy eating plans and they're making it a lot easier because everything is so yummy! I highlighted a few of my favorite Skinny Taste recipes two weeks ago and I'm trying a new one from her cookbook tonight. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
My Google Pixel phone. My husband convinced me a few weeks ago to leave the Apple family and convert to the "dark side" with him. He is an IT guy and therefore has a strong dislike of all Apple products so I usually just ignore his whining about it. But after two trips across town to the Apple store, two chats online, a call to Apple and another impending trip to Apple (with a possibility of another one) because my phone kept shutting down randomly at less than a year old, I was fed up.
I switched and have loved it. It's so user friendly and the camera is AMAZING. But then, on Sunday, it stopped connecting to wi-fi. Instead of giving me the runaround like Apple, they shipped out a new one last night and it's already here! Talk about customer service!

I've heard a lot of good things about This is Us- just never watch cable, haha. Parenthood was awesome, though, definitely worth watching!
Honestly. I don't know why you blog isn't in my "daily follow" list. I'm correcting that error now. Harry Potter? Dog mom? Married young? (I was reading your "about" page, lol.) Definitely following all the time now :)
I love This is Us, I have never watched Parenthood either. I was watching Quantico last season but my husband didn't like it so we quite but I kind of wish I would have kept up with it when he was doing other things. We started Blindspot at the same time and kept up with that one. Have you seen it? So good!!! I love Skinnytaste but I don't think I have looked at Fit Foodie Finds so I will have to do that. I am constantly on the hunt for new recipes to try.
I do really love This Is Us. So emotional!
I need to read Anna Kendrick's book. I love her so much. :) I'm glad to hear you liked it.
HP is definitely suitable for the political climate at the moment. That quote is awesome though! I forgot about that one.

I'm so upset This Is Us was not on tonight. Like...what?!
Anna's book is on my TBR list. SO many books, so little time.
The Anna Kendrick book is on my list! John got it for me for Christmas but it was back ordered and I think it's currently sitting at his parents house. I'll have to remember to check!
Thank you for linking up! I just read Scrappy Little Nobody too and I liked it a lot! I expected to bitch eating crackers her but I found her so relatable and down to earth. I'm cooking more and I've never heard of Fit Foodie Finds but now I have some checking up to do...
