So about this new job

I love it. Going into it, I was a little hesitant. The company is growing extremely quickly which can be a good and a bad thing. I had also heard some.. interesting.. stories about how quickly people leave whether it's by choice or not, but I decided to go into it with an open mind and I'm so glad I did!

I can't go into too much detail, but basically our company has a marketing and a sales side. The marketing side generates the leads/call volume for the same sides. We represent a lot of very well-known companies and I came in at the perfect time because we are launching a new business (and it is a HUGE company. like, huge, huge and I guarantee at least half of you use it!) and only 19 "new to the company" agents were chosen to be on the team. Everyone else has been with the company for awhile and has experience here.

So, I do sit on the phone for 8 hours a day, but I get to sell a product that I'm genuinely in love with and  am considering moving just to have access to it because I don't have it here! But while I'm in between calls I get to hang out with awesome people. I love every person on my sub team and we spend a lot of time throwing darts/discs/paper balls/anything in our desks at each other. Last Friday, we had a team game of corn hole going for each sale we made while the "vets" had a team bowling game going on. Whoever wins these, gets some sort of prize like a gift card, extra money on their check, free lunch, etc.

I had to brighten it a little to blur out our name, but these are banners above our desks :)
Besides the people, I also love the food. I've talked about the food multiple times, I know. I'm also constantly posting pictures on Instagram but I can just barely handle how awesome it is. The company subsidizes everything so I'm eating food from this company for $2-4! People pay a lot to eat at the restaurant every day and we get it for cheap! And since we have to work all week, we're getting free lunch every day!!

On top of that, the dress code. So. Casual. I mean, obviously I can't wear a mini skirt and tube top but, Friday I wore jeans and an App t-shirt. But, being me, that was the first real jeans and tee outfit and probably won't be something I wear often, but I love having the option! I can have fun with my outfits and actually show off my style and personality!

Yes, this is the same shirt but I swear it's 3 weeks apart! :)

The only thing I'm not loving is the schedule, it's changed every week since I started and this week it was supposed to be 9-6p and Monday around 5pm, they changed it to 8a-5p. That is early for me. Especially since last week I didn't go in until 12p! But after next week, I'll finally have a set schedule and set days off!

Happy Wednesday, friends!
