High Five for Friday!

Here's the thing - I had the day off yesterday but that was just luck of the draw with my schedule. The office was open and many people worked. I was back bright and early at 8am today and I also have to work Saturday 12-9. But, I'm actually pretty okay with it because I'm still getting paid for a full week but I got to sleep in yesterday and I will on Sunday, too, so it's actually nice to break up the week into segments.

Regardless, I'm glad the first part of my week is over and I'm here for H54F!

one. I was back in full force in the blog world this week! I'm so happy to have Internet again and that you guys didn't forget about me while I was MIA ;)

two.  Last night's date night. Christian still had to work from home yesterday, so we decided to just go out to eat and then head out to see fireworks. We ended up going to Macaroni Grille which I thought was like a Chili's/Applebee's. FALSE. I had todiefor pasta and we got a bottle of red wine. I also wasn't ID'd for the first time in my life. I don't even know how to feel about that.

three. I got my nails diiiiiiid Wednesday! And man, did I need them. I'm a pink and white kinda girl all the way, but seeing everyone painting their nails different colors, I wanted to try it out. It's still growing on me.

four. Yesterday morning. I slept until 9:30/10a and then spent some time on the couch watching trashy TV and trying to get my BlogLovin' unread posts down under 100. We're at 301...

five. I'm already excited for Sunday! Christian and I have a lazy day planned: marathon of a show we love that was cancelled after the first season complete with brunch in PJs and I'm voting mimosas. So you know, fancy lazy date days. Let's totally make this a thing.

Your nails are so pretty! I used to always to the pink and white all the time also but now addicted to color!

I'm glad you're back to blogging this week! And can't believe you are still chugging through all those posts - 9 days out of the country and I read ones I really wanted to read and had to click "mark all as read" because I couldn't stand it - you're a champ!
