Friday
I don't have class on Fridays (and I no longer work then!) so I got home Thursday night. Friday morning was spent working on papers and job applications and those fun assessments. At 2p, I had an appointment to get my hair done and I had yet to decide what color I wanted. This isn't abnormal for me. I usually just walk in and pick something that looks good and ask what my hair dresser thinks. I've had a ton of different shades over the years!
This time, I decided since I'm growing it out, I wanted something closer to my natural color, whatever that may be. So now it's basically black. As soon as I start looking attractive this week I'll post a picture of it!
After that, I hung out with my parents at their shop and mom and I grabbed Chinese for dinner. TERRIBLE DECISION. I ended up with food poisoning. So, I'm no longer eating Chinese indefinitely.
Saturday
After all the food poisoning shenanigans, I slept in awhile to recover. I woke up feeling completely better and laid on the couch catching up on blogs and watching The Family Stone (cue the tears). Then I grabbed lunched with my friend Jaclyn who I haven't seen since maybe July? I'm not even sure how long it's been honestly. Then I did some damage at the mall.

I also got some "grown up clothes" for work and interviews along with some new jeans and a super cute summer top that I picture wearing to Carowinds because it's super light and sheer in the back!
Saturday night we celebrated my little brother's birthday and had Longhorn's for dinner. In case you haven't caught on from the other few times I've mentioned it: steak is my favorite food. But I'm poor so I let my parents buy me dinner whenever I come home!
Sunday
Well, as we all know it was Easter Sunday. So my family and I went to church and there was a potluck lunch afterwards. So we stuffed our faces and visited with people. Mom and I came home and watched the Kardashians and the Duke v. Louisville game while my brother and dad slept. I was dragged to see GI Joe: Retaliation that night. I wasn't going to go, but (SPOILER ALERT, if you care) I was told Channing Tatum was going to be in it. He's in it for literally 12 minutes before he dies. Very unhappy Leslie. All in all, it wasn't bad, but I need to go see something happy sometime soon. I keep seeing all this doom and gloom, nukes blow up the world and we all die kind of movies. I need a good Nicholas Sparks movie ASAP.
So that was my pretty tame but pretty great weekend since I got to spend it with my family.
